How is an OBM different from a Virtual Assistant (VA)?
A VA typically executes tasks. An OBM helps you lead. I don’t just do what you ask. I help you decide what needs doing, when, and how. I bring strategy, leadership, and structure to your business, not just support.
Will I lose control if I hand over operations?
Not at all. You’ll actually realise that you will start to gain more control. Why? Because things stop slipping through the cracks. I keep you informed with regular updates, and you still lead the vision. I just help carry the weight so you don’t have to do everything alone.
My systems are a mess! Can you really help?
Yes, and you’re not alone. Most founders grow fast before their systems can catch up. I’ll step in, assess what’s working, simplify what’s not, and build tools and processes that actually support your growth not slow you down.
What if I’m not ready to hire someone full-time?

I'm not quite sure whether this is what my business needs. Do you offer a trial?
Absolutely. I understand that bringing someone into your business is a big decision. That’s why I offer a 2-week pre-paid trial period so you can experience the support, structure, and relief I bring without a long-term commitment upfront. It’s a chance to test the waters, get a feel for how we work together, and see the immediate impact before deciding on a longer engagement.
Do you offer add-on services to a package or allow me to swap retainer package features?
Yes. I believe support should feel aligned with your business needs, not boxed in. I offer add-on services you can include as needed, and for the OBM Lite package, there’s some flexibility to swap out certain features based on your priorities.
That said, not everything can be swapped, and we’ll go over what’s possible during our consultation and discovery call. My goal is to make sure you’re getting exactly what will help move your business forward.
How many hours are you going to dedicate to the package I sign up for?
That’s a fair question and I totally understand the need to feel confident about what you’re getting. While I don’t typically track or bill by the hour for retainer packages, each package is designed around clear outcomes and support levels, not time blocks.
I work as an independent contractor supporting a select number of clients, which means I’m focused on delivering high-impact results, not just filling hours. When you bring me on, you’re not paying for how long something takes. Instead, you’re investing in the fact that it gets done strategically, consistently, and without you having to manage every detail.
My commitment is to make sure you get real progress on the things that matter most and we’ll align on what that looks like from day one.
Do you have a team that you work with?
Yes, I occasionally subcontract specific tasks (like design, tech or admin support), but never without your full knowledge and consent. I believe it’s essential that you know exactly who is working on what in your business.
Your business is personal, and I treat it that way. Any subcontracted work is handled with the same level of care, confidentiality, and accountability as if I were doing it myself. You can trust that your information stays secure, and your standards are always upheld.
